NThe Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM) is a premier mountaineering institute located in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, India. It was established in 1965 to honor the great desire of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, who was an ardent mountain lover.
NIM is one of the best mountaineering institutes in India and is also considered as the most prestigious mountaineering institute in Asia.
